Serving Sehnsa, Azad Kashmir – Supported by The Nusrat Begym Trust in Preston, UK
The Nusrat Begum Trust is proud to announce the launch of its free ambulance service in Sehnsa, Azad Kashmir. This initiative marks a significant step in our ongoing mission to serve humanity with dignity, compassion, and urgency.
Every day, individuals in Sehnsa and its surrounding areas face medical emergencies without access to safe and timely transportation. To address this critical need, The Nusrat Begum Trust—a registered charity supported by communities in Preston and Burnley, UK—has introduced a free ambulance service that ensures emergency medical help is available to all, especially the underprivileged and those in remote regions.
Our ambulance service is fully operational and available 24/7. Each vehicle is equipped to provide immediate support during medical crises and is managed by trained staff prepared to assist patients and families at any hour. This service is designed to support people regardless of their financial situation, ensuring no one is left behind in times of need.
This life-saving service has been made possible through the generous donation of an ambulance by Chaudry Mohammad Saleem, founder of Kashmir Watan Food Cash & Carry, based in Preston and Burnley. We extend our deepest gratitude for this generous and impactful contribution, which will provide urgent medical transport and relief to countless families in Sehnsa.
The free ambulance service is intended to benefit:
-
Low-income families
-
Individuals with emergency medical needs
-
Residents of rural or underserved areas
By offering this service, The Nusrat Begum Trust aims to remove transportation barriers that prevent access to critical healthcare in Azad Kashmir.
